Watermark
: On the left side of the note, there is a picture of the mask of King Tutankhamoun that
appears when the note is exposed to a penetrating light.

Safety Marks
: A magnetic strap upon which the phrase " 100 pounds "is written repeatedly, legible to the
naked eye when the note is exposed to a penetrating strong light.

There is, below the upper ornamental strap, on the left of the note front, a circular ornamental shape that integrates with its counterpart on the back of the note. When seen in a penetrating light it gives the shape of the popular pharaonic eye.

On the right half side of the note front, an ornamental circular shape printed in ink whose color changes from violet to olive green, when the note is tilted.
